Last Home Game

Today was the last home game for us.  We actually have another home game in 2 weeks, but we have a wedding to attend, so we will not be able to make it to the game.

It was chilly again today, but I still do not think it was as cold as it was last weekend.  We enjoyed tailgating for a couple of hours before the game.  We picked up pizza from Little Caesars along with bread sticks and some salad.  Something simple, but it was still great!

Today it was Military Appreciation Day.
I love Military Apprciation Day.  I have always appreciated the Military, but my true appreciation came when Elizabeth's brother, Zack, joined the Army over 4 years ago.  Thanks so much to all the men and woman who serve our Country, so that we may live in freedom!!

Every Military Appreciation Day we have a fly over.
I was beginning to think we weren't going to have a fly over, but they came right after we sang the National Anthem.  This will definitely give you chills!  Sorry the picture isn't centered, they were flying too fast for me.

The first minute of the game was awesome, but it went down hill from that.  I wish the Pirates could have played a little better, but oh well, better luck next weekend at UTEP.  We still had a good time though.

Hope you all have been enjoying your weekend.  We have one more day, and an extra hour...yay!!!
