Yesterday we served our risen Savior by going to church. Easter Sunday is always a special day. It is a day where we remember the true meaning of John 3:16.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
After we went to church, we had lunch at Brad's Grandma Dot's. It was nice eating lunch and then enjoying the beautiful Easter day that we had. Once everyone was finished eating, we hid over 200 eggs so the little ones could have an egg hunt. It was a rumor that Grandma Dot had put $100 in one of the eggs. Sadly there wasn't an egg with $100, but that didn't stop the children from running around finding as many eggs as they possibly could.
Once all the eggs were found, they loved seeing what was stuffed in all the eggs.... chocolate and more chocolate!!
