Big's Birthday & Date Night

We celebrated Big's 81st birthday last night.

Aunt Johni had us over for dinner and dessert.  We had salad and baked spaghetti.  I will be making the spaghetti in the near future because it was delicious.  She made it with sausage instead of hamburger...I have never had it like that, and I must say it was GREAT!!!

Tonight was date night in the Bowen house.  We were to choose a restaurant that started with the letter J.  We were discussing it last night as to where to eat, Brad said we needed to stop eating at restaurants that start with a certain letter.  We had already skipped 2 letters, so he said we should just go wherever.  So, tonight we ate at the Dixie Queen, which is a seafood restaurant.  Brittany, Brad's sister, works there and tonight was her last night before she heads back to school.  We had a great waitress and a wonderful meal...Thanks Brittany!!
