Over the Past Week...

...we have done a few things.

We celebrated Aunt Al's birthday last week at Pizza Villa.  MeMa figured we would all love to eat there, since it is definitely one of our favorite restaurants.  We all had a great time and of course, the food was good too!!

Last Saturday we headed to the River for the night.  This was the first time Brad and I have actually stayed at the River since we started dating, which was 5 years ago.  We had a lot of fun!  That night we rode bikes...I didn't know how that was going to turn out, considering I haven't ridden a bike in about 15 years!!

Sunday, Brad took Jacques for a swim.  We have a retriever who is not so great at swimming.  These dogs are made for swimming...guess Jacques is not.  When he was a puppy he absolutely loved it.  This time, he would paddle over to Brad and then hang on for dear life.  Guess he needs to go for a swim more often!

And today, we attended our first football game of the season!!!  

 Sorry for the lack of pictures from tailgating and the game.  It was too hot to do anything.  You know it is hot at a game, when Taylor leaves before half time.  Brad did stay for the entire game, but said it didn't cool off at all.  Over 300 people were treated because of the heat.  It was terrible, but the Pirates won...so that was GREAT!!!

I hope you all are having a happy and safe Labor Day weekend.  It is so hard to believe that it is September!!
