Christmas Parties

I just want to start this post off by saying that my heart aches so bad for all the families that were affected by the shooting in Connecticut.  This is such a tragedy! No one wants to imagine what all these families are going through.  My friend, Stacey, posted something great on Facebook Friday night that I wanted to share.

"It is so sad that those precious, sweet children aren't home tonight with their mama and daddy. I pray those parents can find peace knowing their babies are in the arms and presence of Jesus. Oh, how He loves the little children!"

Jesus is the reason for this season!  May all the families that were affected find peace through Jesus during this time!

With Christmas just around the corner, Christmas parties have been on the schedule.  Monday night I hosted our Bible Study Christmas party.

For the past few years we have always served appetizers as well as have an ornament exchange.  It is always fun and like in the past, this year didn't disappoint.

Friday night, Katie, Stacey and I headed to Elizabeth's for a girl's night.  Elizabeth hosted a Christmas party for a group of us girls.

Things have been quiet around our house today.  It is cool and rainy here so we have enjoyed being lazy on this Sunday afternoon.  I hope you all have had a great weekend and will have a great week.  It is so hard to believe that Christmas is only a week away!!!
