Last Tuesday we were preparing for a "big" snow. Now, you know for us Southerners, it doesn't take much to consider it a big snow. They had talked it up on the news for about a week, so we were expecting anywhere from 4-8 inches, which for us is a lot. Well, it started with ice, and then finally after midnight it turned to snow. By the time we got up Wednesday morning it had stopped snowing, but it was beautiful outside.
Brad and I can't stand to be in the house all the time, so we rode out to see how pretty the snow was.
Of course, it was pretty everywhere!
We were both out of work again on Thursday, so we spent the afternoon with the Beddards. Anna Kate had called and invited us to come over and play in the snow...so that is exactly what we did. Thursday was nice because we still had snow, but it was about 10 degrees warmer.

While we were playing in the snow, we built a snow girl...or shall I say Brad built the snow girl.

Anna Kate named her Frosta. When I talked to her the other day, I asked her how Frosta was doing, and she told me she had melted. Maybe we can build another one soon...they are thinking we could get more winter weather next week.
We enjoyed the snow, but it will be nice to enjoy some warmer weather!!
