Two Answers in Two Days

Back in January, Brad and I received answers to two of our prayer requests.

We have rented my duplex since a few months before we got married.  Our prayer from the get go was to sell it, but apparently the time was just not right.  Well, after the tenants gave us a 60 day notice, we immediately wanted to try to sell it again.  After having the house on the market for one week, we got an offer...PRAISE!!  We discussed our options and finally settled with the buyers.

We closed on the house almost two weeks ago.  Brad and I could not be more relieved.  It is so nice to only worry about keeping up one house.  

After being so excited about having an offer on the house, the very next day, we found out we were...

 We know this child is a blessing from God!  This little one has been prayed for by many, and we are so excited to be on this journey.

Baby Bowen is due September 30.  

We have had three doctor's appointments and have been able to hear that sweet heart beat all three times.

(I am recording this info, so that I can remember it...and of course, so our families have record of it too.)

We go back the beginning of May to find out if we are having a little prince or princess.  

Now that we have a lot going on around here, the blog will likely be updated more often.  I have already had family request baby bump and nursery pictures.  Hopefully they will come soon!!

As you can tell 2014 has been a great year for us and we look forward to the many blessings ahead.  To close out this post, I will end with the Bible verse that I have clung to over the past year...
