Looking Back at 2014

I figured to recap 2014, I would do the same questionnaire I did to recap 2013.

What did you do in 2014, that you never have done before?
Well, I gave birth to the sweetest little boy in the world.

Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes...Stacey gave birth to little Claire

Did anyone close to you die?
Brad's Grandma Bowen passed away in August
My Grandma Flowers passed away in November

What dates in 2014 will remain etched in your memory and why?
October 1, 2014...this was the day we welcomed Braden Thomas Bowen into our family.

Did you suffer any illness or injury?
No, Brad and I were very blessed not to experience any illness or injuries.  However, little man was just diagnosed with RSV.

What was the best thing you bought?
We actually bought a new car...I guess you could say a family car.  We got a Tahoe so we would all be able to ride together in one vehicle.

Where did most of your money go?
Most of our money this year has gone to doctor bills...will they ever end!!

What do you wish you had done more/less of?
I always wish I had spent more time in the Word.  God has blessed us so much this year and this is the least we can do.

What was your favorite TV program?
I really have not had a favorite TV program this year.  Since Braden has joined us, we do not have as much free time to watch TV.

What is the best book you read this year?
Well, considering I do not like to read, this is not a question for me.  The only things I have read this year is my Bible on my phone/ipad or children's books to Braden.

What did you do on your birthday?  How old were you?
I turned 32 and I celebrated it by going out to dinner with my friends and family.

Did you travel anywhere this year?
I actually went to Nashville for the first time ever.  We went for Lesley's Bachelorette weekend.

What national/international event stirred you the most?
All the terrible shootings that have happened over the last several months.

Tell us a valuable lesson you learned in 2014.
Soak up every minute you have with your loved ones.  You never know when they may no longer be with you!

2014 has been a great year, and I am excited to see what 2015
is going to be like for us Bowens.
