Life has been somewhat laid back this week...which has been nice.
We spent Father's Day morning together, just the three of us. Brad wanted to go boat riding, so that is just what we did.
This was Braden's first time riding the boat. He did alright to begin with, but then got a little fussy. Guess that is what we get for going during his normal nap time...plus, he wasn't the biggest fan of that big life jacket.
Father's Day night we cooked dinner for our dad's...I'm terrible for not taking pictures.
Tuesday morning Braden woke up at 3:00 and would not go back to sleep. I called the doctor and in we went.
We just knew he had an ear infection. Dr. Bradshaw quickly told us his ears looked great, but he had ulcers in the back of his throat again. Poor thing...he can't catch a break!
Once we finished at the doctor, on to Nanny's he went. He was leaving to go to the beach with Nanny and Joe Pa until Thursday. This was the first time that Braden has actually left us. He has spent the night off plenty of times, but never has he gone out of town without us. Brad told mom they could take him, if she promised to send us lots of pictures.
Well...Here are all 30 plus pictures she sent us...this doesn't include the videos she sent.
MeMa and Big were also there with them. I think they all had a great time...not sure who had the most fun, Braden or the adults who he kept busy!!
While he was away, Brad and I took advantage of our free time. Tuesday night I went to get a mani/pedi with Allyson Lake, while Brad went out on the boat.
Wednesday night we had a date night.
While we enjoyed doing things out of our normal routine, we sure were glad for our little man to be home. Now it is time to whip him back into our normal routine...he is no longer on Island Time!!
