Brad and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary this year...back in July. We have always made it a point to do something special on our anniversary, so I wanted to make sure we continued to do so, even though we have a little man in the family now!!
We spent the weekend at the beach, just the two of us. It was very relaxing and we really enjoyed ourselves. Saturday we took the boat out and did a little island hopping.
Having the flat bottom boat sure makes it a lot easier to pull right up on the island and just chill.
Our first stop was to Shackelford Banks. As we were just there on the island relaxing, some horses decided to come join us.
They were a lot closer to me than this, but by the time I got my phone out to take a picture, they had moved right along.
Our next stop was to Cape Lookout.
It was very nice at the Cape. I would love to go back more often.
After leaving the Cape we rode back through the ocean.
It was just a tad too rough for me. I had to hold on the entire time, which isn't the most pleasurable boat ride. We did enjoy our ride through Beaufort though!
After a wonderful day out on the water, we went out for dinner at the Channel Marker.
The food was good, then we went shopping for a little while.

Sunday I sat on the beach for a while and Brad fished.
Then it was time for us to come home to our little one.
Thanks Nanny and Joe Pa for taking good care of him!!
