July 4th has come and gone. I hate to say it, but I always feel like when July 4th gets here that the rest of the summer flies by.
We spent the 4th down at the river with Brad's family.
Braden had to get in a nap before all of the fun.
Braden had to get in a nap before all of the fun.
Once we got there, it was time to get out in the sun. The two BTBs played in the pool.
The view of the river is always so pretty...
After an afternoon of fun in the sun, it was time for the annual 4th of July parade...one of my favorite things about the 4th at the river.
Braden enjoyed the parade, sitting in the back of PaPa's truck.
Bet you can't believe that this was one of Braden's favorites in the parade...
Sunday night we enjoyed the fireworks the neighbors were shooting off.
I was unsure how Braden would do, since he has never seen them before, but he did great...as long as he was sitting with someone.
We enjoyed watching the fireworks with B and Ty!
Monday, which was July 4th, we decided to take the boat out. Not sure who enjoyed being out on a little beach more...Braden or Jacques.
That afternoon it was cloudy, so what better to do than fish from the pier.
One last thing we had to do before we left was to get our annual July 4th family picture.
I am going to love comparing these from year to year. Someone was a little guy last year.
At least I got us all matching this year :) The advantage of being the one to pack all of our clothes!!
We all enjoyed our weekend! Someone had to catch up on his sleep on our way home.
Hope you all had a great 4th!
Thanks to all who serve and who have served for our freedom!!
