Life Lately: September

So here is what our life was like during September...

Braden has enjoyed the cooler weather by rocking on the front porch.

We spent Labor Day down at the river, where we cooked cookies...

 Hung out on the pier

 And Braden rode the jet ski for the first time.

Food Lion has little grocery carts for the children and Braden has enjoyed using them when we are there to only pick up a couple of things.

Uncle J got Braden a swing set for his first birthday....well, it took over a year for us to get it up, but Braden LOVES it!!

We remembered those who lost their lives on 9/11 by wearing our Red, White and Blue.

We celebrated Katie's Birthday by having our monthly couples date night.

We are still loving this fall like weather, where we can enjoy being outside together as a family.

My Grandma's brother passed away a few weeks ago so we celebrated his 100 years of life.

It is very rare for us all 3 to be together, so we had to take a picture.

I did lots of birthday party planning, which is why Braden is playing with cones.

And we enjoyed a nice night spent with our cousins, with dinner at none other than Pizza Villa.

Not all of us cousins were able to make it, but we look forward to when we all can be together around Christmas!

So that is what our life has been like lately.  Next up it's all about our little guy turning 2.

And I couldn't end this post without this...Our thoughts and prayers are with Eastern North Carolina and all the many others who have been affected by Hurricane Matthew.
