So here is what life was like for us during the month of October.
Some little one in our family turned 2.
We attended the wedding of one of our cousins. I wish I had gotten a family picture of us all dressed up, but I was busy chasing around the birthday boy. Yes...I am the crazy parent that had a birthday party in the morning with a wedding to attend a few hours later.
We ended Braden's birthday eating dinner just the 3 of us at Chick-fil-a and he enjoyed a ride on our neighbor's golf cart.
The very next day we celebrated our friend Ruby turning 2.
These two enjoyed themselves at the park.
Braden has enjoyed playing with all his new toys that he got for his birthday.
Hurricane Matthew came and it went, leaving behind a lot of flooding. Luckily we were not affected with any flooding or damage. We lost power for a couple of days, so we were lucky. This is how we sleep the night of the hurricane with no power.
I had to post this precious child of mine. This was us going out one morning and I thought he looked so grown...and cute :)
I kept Anna Kate and Corban one Friday...Braden loves to hang out with them.
We went to the pumpkin patch and got our pumpkins for this year...man how the years have changed.
Braden started gymnastics on Wednesday nights and he is really enjoying it. This is something fun for him that is great for his motor skills.
We took a trip to the State Fair...never again will we go on a Saturday. It was way too crowded and we didn't enjoy ourselves at all.
This one enjoyed the tractors.
However, we did enjoy a family day together.
The weather has been really nice, so last Friday we spent time in the hammock at Nanny's house.
I should have done a post on last weekend since we had so much going on, but oh well.
Saturday we attended the fall festival at church. Braden enjoyed riding the train so much...he is still talking about it.
He also painted a pumpkin
And we went on a hay ride. So much for trying to get a group pictures...BOYS!!
Sunday, Bryan and Elizabeth had Mary Griffin dedicated...She looked like a baby doll.
Then Monday was Halloween.
Our little skeleton enjoyed Trick or Treating.
So with all that said, we wrapped up a busy but fun October. Now it is on to November and the holiday season. We already have lots of fun things planned :)
