We did our first ever Summer Vacation. Brad and I both took a week off with the kids and spent our time together as a family at the river and the beach.
We started at the river for July 4.
This was the first year that Braden actually got in the river a lot and played.

Brad had to go back to work for a few days before our actual vacation started, so I took the kids and headed to the beach for a couple of days with Nook.
After a few days, it was time to head home to pick up daddy so we could head to the river, but we stopped in New Bern at the KOA to visit Nanny and Pa.
Then we were river bound for a few days, where these two did a lot of fishing from the pier.
CM experienced her first boat ride.
We did a morning at the park.
One of Braden's friends asked us to go to a playgroup, and someone has fallen in love with Pete the Cat ever since.
The boys last boat ride.
And our last of many golf cart rides.
Then it was time to head to the beach for part 2 of our vacation.
