Catching Up!

These past two weeks have been super busy, so sorry for not blogging.  This is just a little catch up post. 

Last Monday night (12/27/10) I was trying to declutter my den by throwing away all the boxes from Christmas.  I had about three bags of trash to take out.  Brad told me that I should just wait until the morning because it was still very snowy outside.  Well, being as hard-headed as I can be, I decided to take it out myself...not such a good idea.  On my way back into the house, I slipped on a patch of ice.  I fell down on my right hand, and the left side of my face.  I came back in with snow all over me, and Brad was like what happened?!?  I told him that I fell, and for him to look at my hand because I didn't know if it was broken. I was able to move my hand so he didn't think I broke it.  Tuesday morning I woke up, and couldn't move my hand anymore.  Well, I went to the doctor, and the picture below shows how I left...

...Yep, I broke my wrist, and I'm wearing a cast for 3-4 weeks.

I decided to get purple since the Pirates were playing in a bowl game on Wednesday (12/29/10).  The Pirates didn't win, but I'm still supporting them for a couple more weeks with my purple cast.

 Since I was off of work all last week, I was able to do a little wedding planning.  Thursday we went to Smithfield to look at wedding dresses.  Nothing like trying on wedding dresses in a cast.  It must have given me luck because I said yes to the dress!!

Can you believe all nine of us agreed on the same dress?!?
