Fun Week

This is what we have been up to this week...
...checking the mail.

Now that the invitations have been mailed, response cards are starting to come in. Allyson Lake checks the mail every day about lunch time and sends me a text, letting me know how many responses we have received.  Since I have moved out of my house, I am staying at mom's until Brad and I get married; which has turned out good because I get to look at the responses daily.  It is exciting to see who is able to be apart of our special day!

Speaking of our special day, I had my bridal portraits taken this afternoon.  I was a little worried about the weather this morning, because it couldn't decide if it wanted to rain or if the sun wanted to be out.  We couldn't have asked for better weather...the temperature was perfect!

Everything was going great, until my feet started hurting.  We were getting ready to move to another place at the location we were at, and I told them I had to take my shoes off or I wouldn't be able to walk.  I started to feel kind of yucky (nausea and a little dizzy)...next thing I know, Stacey is in my face, blowing on me and asking me if I was okay.  Yes, I was the bride who passed out taking her bridal pictures.  We aren't sure why I passed out, maybe because I had not eaten enough, or had enough water to drink.  I am feeling much better now!  Brad keeps telling everyone that I am love sick...PLEASE!!!

Piece of advice...eat and drink plenty on special days like this!!

Hope you all are having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  I am hoping to head to the beach tomorrow!!

  1. GIRL! Eat!!! Drink!! My MOH who was sharing a hotel room with me before the wedding was in charge of making sure I ate. Snack all during the day and eat a meal before the wedding because you won't AT the wedding.

Another awesome things he did was take my phone away from me during down time. She had my "book" and could answer any question from any caller and if it was super important she would just ask me. It kept me sane!
