Last night we had Mom, Joe, Johnathan and Allyson Lake over for a spaghetti dinner to celebrate mom's birthday. This is the first time, since we have been married, that we have had anyone over to eat with us. The spaghetti was delicious. After spaghetti we had cake. Mom has the recipe to the cake we had at our wedding, so she had fixed one. Yes, she made her own birthday cake, and did a fine job at it too!
After celebrating, Brad and Joe got busy in the kitchen...hanging my curtains.
We have not hung any curtains or anything on the walls, since I have moved in. So, last night was the beginning of it all.

After they finished with the curtains in the kitchen, I somehow talked them into hanging the curtains in our bedroom.
Mom I hope you had a great birthday. Joe and Brad...thanks so much for hanging the curtains. Hopefully we can get everything else hung soon :)
