24-27 Weeks

Time still continues to go by fast!  Hard to believe I am approaching the third trimester.

Braden and I are definitely getting bigger week by week.

We had a doctor's appointment last Tuesday.  I had to do the glucose test.  It wasn't as bad as I had anticipated...that is until I found out that I FAILED!!!  I go back this week for the 3 hour test.  I am hoping and doing some major praying that I pass this time, with no complications.  I am a little scared that I will get sick, but praying that does not happen.  

We also had an ultrasound at this same appointment, to rule out placenta previa...thankfully my placenta had moved.  

We were able to see Braden's sweet little self!!  

Seeing him again made me fall more deeply in love.  When the ultrasound tech first started, Braden was being just a tad bit stubborn.  Apparently he likes to sleep when we have the camera on him.  One sweet thing we saw during the ultrasound were his hands together, as if he was praying.  I can say that this boy loves church.  The past 2 weeks at church, he has been very active during worship and the sermon.  It is my prayer that he has a heart for Jesus!!

The tech was also asking Brad and I how much we weighed when we were born.  She started saying that she thought he was going to be more my size, until she got to his legs.  He definitely has his daddy's legs.  They are measuring a week and a half earlier than our due date.  Looks like we are going to have another tall one in the family...which I am ok with.  I hope he has Brad's height versus mine!!

His heart beat was 155.  

Now that we are going into our last trimester, we start going to the doctor every 2 weeks.  I am excited that I get to hear that sweet heart more often!

Although I am so ready to meet this sweet little man, he can hold off for 12 or so weeks.
