Life Lately

One of the blogs I follow, Mix and Match Family, does a weekly post called Life Lately.  I love how she highlights everything that has happened over the past week into one post...so, I am going to try to start my own Life Lately posts.  I probably will not have enough going on in one week, but I will at least attempt to do a post every other week!  So here is what has been going on in our life lately...

We attended our first Pirate Fest.  Johnathan and Megan were running in a 5K that morning, so we decided to go cheer them on.  This was Johnathan's first time running in a 5K.

Braden had the best time.  Anything outside and that boy is HAPPY!

Corban turned 2 on April 10, and we got to celebrate his birthday at the fire department.  This was Braden's first birthday party to go to.  

We had a lot of fun.  Happy Birthday Corby!!

Braden started sitting in a new car seat over the past few weeks.

He was getting cramped in his infant seat, so now he is in a big boy seat and he enjoys riding in the car so much more.

Now that he is 6 months old, Brad and I decided it was time we let Braden start crying it out.

We knew he could sleep through the night because he had done it many times, but it was never consistent.  Now that we let him cry it out he is sleeping much better.  He is even going down some nights without making a sound!  

Beau Gray Campbell joined our family on April 11.

I hated that I was not there when he was born ,like I was with Blair and the twins, but I had a little one at home that needed me.  We made the trip last weekend to meet little Beau.  He is so precious.  I can hardly wait for him and Braden to grow up together!!

While we were in Cary visiting the Campbells, Braden sat in a high chair at a restaurant for the first time.

This child is nosy, like his mama, so he thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the high chair.

Braden spent last Saturday night with Brad's parents.  This was the first time he has spent the night with Juju, Papa Mike and Aunt BEB.

I am not sure who had the most fun!

Life is going by so quickly!!  Hopefully I will stay on top of doing Life Lately posts.
