First Haircut

Braden got his first haircut right after his birthday.

Here is a picture of him before we headed to do something that was long over due.

We debated for a while on who was going to cut his hair.  When Brad told me he didn't really care, I knew who would do it.  Mrs. Judy, who cut my hair when I was little, was just who I wanted .  She cut mine and all of my cousin's, so I thought it would be extra special for her to cut hair in the next generation.

I remember sitting on this same piece of wood 30 years ago when I got my hair cut, and now my little man got to sit on the same piece to get his first hair cut.

And here we go...

Braden's hair was so long that when it was wet it covered the back of his neck.

I knew I wanted him to get a good hair cut, but I still wanted him to look like a baby...not a big boy.

Although he got lots of curls cut off, he still has plenty...trust me

You got to do what you got to do to entertain a 1 year old...so Elmo it was!
