Can hardly believe that today is the last day of 2016. Here is a questionnaire to recap our year.
What did you do in 2016 that you have never done before?
I grew up with a dad and brother who loved and still to this day love hunting. And then I married a guy who is the same. Believe it or not, I had never shot a gun before this year.
I also went to hear the Vice President Nominee, which is now our Vice President Elect speak here in Greenville. Briley sang the National Anthem for Trump/Pence a couple of times, so I was able to hear her on this day.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes! Elizabeth gave birth to sweet Mary Griffin!!
Did anyone close to you pass away?
Yes...Brad's Aunt Jackie
What dates in 2015 will remain etched in your memory and why?
Of course celebrating Braden's 2nd Birthday - October 1
And then Christmas Day where we were able to take a family picture of my mom's entire family. This was the first time we had all been together in over 5 years at Christmas time :)
Did you suffer any illness or injury?
No thank goodness we were healthy this year...praying it continues!!
What was the best thing you bought?
I honestly can not think of anything. I am sure I have bought a lot this year, but nothing that I can think of that is the best.
Where did most of your money go?
Most of our money went towards just living life. Nothing out of the ordinary, which I guess is a good thing!
What do you wish you had done more/less of?
I wish I had taken more pictures of us as a family. I am pretty good at getting pictures of Braden, but we do not have nearly enough pictures of the 3 of us together.
What was your favorite TV program?
My favorite TV program this year would probably be Chrisley Knows Best...HILARIOUS
What is the best book you read this year?
Y'all should know by now I am not a book reader. However; I started reading Agents of the Apocalypse before the Christmas season but with things being so busy, it has taken the back burner. I look forward to starting it again.
What did you do on your birthday? How old are you?
I turned 34 in January. I must not have done much of anything for my birthday because I do not remember. I am sure it was just a night spent at home with the boys.
Did you travel anywhere this year?
Brad and I traveled to Ocracoke this year for our anniversary. Normally we go with our friends, but this summer we went just the two of us.
Tell us a valuable lesson you learned in 2016?
Make the most of the time you have with your loved ones!
Happy New Year!!
