Baby #2

As I have mentioned before we are expecting baby #2.  I am going to try to catch up as much about this pregnancy as I can.  Poor thing is already experiencing the second child problems...you know with the first baby you are so ready to do all the many things on your to do list, and then baby #2 rolls around and you are much more relaxed. So here I go catching up...

We found out we were expecting on February 13, which happens to be Brad's birthday.  We had been praying and wanting to add another little one to our family, but didn't expect it to happen as quickly as it did.  So whenever we got that positive result (which I never took a picture of), we were so excited, but nervous about it all at the same time.

My first doctor's visit I was only 4 weeks pregnant.  Due to having a miscarriage before Braden, they wanted me to come in early just to make sure everything was good to go.  Just like we thought, this was a pointless visit, except finding out we were due October 23.  Two October babies!  My brother, Johnathan, told me we needed to plan better next time and do a different month.  Hate to tell him, but there is no plan for another on our part!

The next week Braden was diagnosed with the flu.  We were super worried about me getting it since he was needing extra loving, so we went on and told all of our family and close friends so they could pray for protection for us.  Luckily no one else got the flu!

Of course I am recording all this so I can remember, and then there are certain family members that enjoy keeping up with the information too!!  We were able to hear the heart beat at our next visit and from then on.
