This weekend has been a fun, relaxing one. Saturday was the kick off to football season, so that night we had my mom, Joe, Allyson Lake and her boyfriend over for the game. Brad cooked chicken on the grill and we had potato casserole and string bean casserole to go with it, and cookies for dessert. Can you say delicious?!?
Sunday was another relaxing day. We got up and went to church, only to come home and chill out some more. Katie called me that afternoon to see if I wanted to go with her and Anna Kate to the mall; of course, I did. After our shopping adventure, we all went to the grocery store to grab something for us to cook on the grill. I thought Anna Kate and I had become best buds this weekend, until she had Brad carrying her around in the grocery store. She wouldn't come to me for anything! That's ok, I still think we are buddies!
Today, we hung out with the Beddards again. They sent us a message this morning wanting to know if we wanted to go eat breakfast with them at Yoder's. Katie kept telling us we had to get the french toast...and she won't kidding! It was DELICIOUS!!! After breakfast we both went our separate ways for a little while, before venturing back out to the furniture stores. Brad and I are looking for a mattress. Do any of you have suggestions as to the best kind to get?!?
So, this is what we have done on our long weekend...eat, eat and eat some more. I told Katie I was going to do a blog post on our in-town vacation with the Beddards!!
