Johnathan and I left Friday morning to go enjoy our Memorial Day weekend at the beach. We both were off on Friday, so it was nice to enjoy a day off at the beach.
When we got there we unloaded all the groceries and luggage and then took the boat out.
Johnathan even allowed me to drive...only while he was doing something else!!
It was nice spending the entire day with him, because we normally do not get to spend one-on-one time with each other.
Saturday we were all up early and ready to head out to the sun. It was sunny off and on, but the worst part was the wind. It was so windy!! I survived sand blowing all over me, on the beach, for two hours and then could not take it anymore, so I went back to the house and enjoyed laying out on the deck.
My favorite part of dad's beach house is the covered front porch. It gets a good breeze, so I love to sit out there. I think I spent most of my time sitting out there!
Sunday was absolutely beautiful! Katie and Stacey came over for a few hours and we enjoyed talking it up on the beach.
I wish I could have enjoyed the beach again today, but I got way too much sun yesterday to even think about being out in the sun again.
I was back home around lunch time today, so I was able to enjoy lunch with Brad. I had not seen him since Friday morning, so I was excited to see him. This was the longest we have gone not seeing each other since we got married....hahaha!!!
Now I am home relaxing a little more before having a four day work week. I think I could take a four day work week, every week. But then again, I am very thankful for having a job that I love.
