Working Weekend

Friday, Brad and I wanted to hang out with the Meeks, since we haven't seen them in so long.  After talking with Stacey, we decided to cook out at our house, since it was graduation weekend here.  The weather was beautiful Friday night, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy spending time with each other.  I definitely enjoyed hanging out with this little man...

When Connor was first born, I used to see him at least once a week.  Now that we are all so busy, I am doing good if I see him once a month.  On their way over here Friday, Stacey said something about Taylor.  Next thing I know Connor called me Taylor.  Since he was little he has always called me Tay Tay, so when he called me Taylor, I had to tell him my name was Tay Tay.  Connor...you are growing up way too fast!!

Saturday I had to work.

Our agency sponsored the Kids Fest, which was part of the Festival on the Neuse.  We had several games that the children could play.  I was responsible for the game where they threw three bean bags into the clown's face.  After picking up those bean bags all day long...let me just tell you how out of shape I am.  OH MY GOODNESS....my legs are so sore today.  I felt like when I went in the grocery store, this afternoon, that people were staring at me because I was walking so crazy!!

Today we have had another working day.  Well, I haven't done much, but Brad has been working on the deck.  Last weekend him and Bryant tore the deck down and started to rebuild it.  Today Brad was able to finish putting the floor back together and has started working on the sides.  I am so excited to see what the deck looks like when he gets finished.  I will definitely do a post when the project is complete.  I wish I had taken a picture of what it looked like before and after.
