1 Month

Carly Michael was a month old November 22.

She has been to the doctor a few times since she was first born.

She went when she was a few days old, just for a weight check.

She had lost 5% of her weight, which they said was really good.  She weighed in at 7lbs 6 oz.  

We went back to the doctor when she was a week old for another weight check. She weighed in at 7 lbs 11oz, so she was gaining her weight back.  Of course, I forgot to take a picture.  Brad and I thought she was dealing with a little reflux so we asked about that and they said it was completely normal.

The next day I took Carly Michael and Braden back to the doctor.  I was concerned that she may have a cold because she sounded congested.  They said it could be reflux but she sounded great to just keep an eye on her.

Because of her reflux, I took her back another time.

She had gotten where she would scream a lot and you could not comfort her what so ever.  They prescribed her Zantac and it has helped a lot.

Here is what Carly Michael is up to at 1 month...

Wears Newborn clothes
Wears Newborn diapers
Drinks 3-4 oz every 3 hours
Loves her Mommy
Likes to sing Jesus Loves Me
Slept through the night one time
Lets you know when she's hungry
Starting to smile
Rolled over for the first time
Starting to coo

Carly Michael, thank you for making our transition to a family of 4 fun and somewhat easy.  We love you sweet girl!!
