I am going to use the same questionnaire to recap 2015 that I did for 2014.
2015 has been a great year and has gone by so quickly.
What did you do in 2014, that you never have done before?
I was able to experience the birth of a sweet little girl. Being the one giving birth is a little bit different than being in the room with someone else giving birth. It is an amazing process and one I will never forget.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes...
Lindsay gave birth to Beau, April 11
And Lesley gave birth to Butler, November 14
Did anyone close to you die?
My mom's first cousin and a friend of our family passed away this year.
What dates in 2015 will remain etched in your memory and why?
October 1 again is a special date within our family. This year we were able to celebrate Braden turning one!!
Did you suffer any illness or injury?
Brad and I were blessed with good health this year. Braden, well he wasn't so lucky! He had RSV, Hand Foot and Mouth 2-3 times, 5 Ear Infections, and Strep 3 times.
What was the best thing you bought?
We didn't make any huge purchases this year. I think the best thing we bought was probably a DVD player for the car. Braden is not the best car rider, so watching Mickey Mouse makes things a lot better.
Where did most of your money go?
Just like last year, most of our money went towards doctor bills.
What do you wish you had done more/less of?
Like always, I wish I had spent more time in the word. I really need to make a special time each day to make sure that I read my Bible like I should.
What was your favorite TV program?
I think my favorite TV program this year would have to be The Chrisleys. I think this show is absolutely hilarious.
What is the best book you read this year?
I do not have a favorite book that I have read this year, but we will just say I have read a lot of children's books.
What did you do on your birthday? How old were you?
I turned 33 on January 5. I didn't do anything but hang out with my 2 guys!!
Did you travel anywhere this year?
We went back to Ocracoke again this year with our friends.
Tell us a valuable lesson you learned in 2014.
My lesson would be to make every minute count. Spend your time with the ones that you love and make memories!!
I hope you all had a great 2015! We can hardly wait to see what is in store for the Bowens in 2016!!
