Today has been a crazy day. Mom and I left the house at 8:15 this morning and didn't get home until 9:15 tonight. It is a good thing I took this week off work to get everything finalized for the wedding.
We started our morning in Kinston meeting with the florist. We were able to finalize all our plans for flowers for the wedding as well as decorations for the reception. I am getting all the flower arrangements from Rider's Florist in Kinston. Ms. Evelyn has been very helpful with getting things together for us, as well as, giving us ideas as far as the wedding ceremony goes.
After meeting with the florist, I had to run some errands in Kinston before coming back to Greenville. Mom and I met my brother at the store for him to try on his tux for the wedding. It is a good thing mom and I went because most of the guys in the wedding came in to pick their tux up as well. Brad was the only one that didn't have any issues with his tux, or at least I hope so. Everyone else wasn't so lucky...they either had a coat that had the sleeves too short, their pants were too short, or their shoes were too tight. I guess the Lord is telling us all to just be patient. I was very surprised with myself, thinking I would get over stimulated, but I didn't.
Once we dealt with all the tux issues, it was time for us girls to relax. Me, Mom, Allyson Lake, and Aunt Al went and got manicures and pedicures. What a wonderful way to end our day. As we were waiting in the car for our appointment, Jennifer, my co-worker pulled up and she was getting a pedicure too. We had a great time getting all pampered for the wedding. Just what I needed to end a busy day. Hoping tomorrow is more laid back before all the wedding festivities begin on Friday!!
