Wedding Day

Mrs. Bradford Thomas Bowen
Our wedding day was perfect! All of the girls spent Friday night with me, which meant, we were all up early on Saturday morning. I had to be at the salon at 9, for Mary-Emma to do my hair.

My hair was very simple. She just pulled it up half way and then flipped out the bottom. Be aware of the flip...I told her to flip it out a lot because I knew it would fall out by the time I had to walk down the isle.

After getting my hair done, Mom and I met Allyson Lake, Stacey, Katie, Elizabeth and even Zack for breakfast at BoJangles.

Then it was time to head to Kinston. Stacey met me at the church early so that she could do my make-up. She did my make-up for my portrait as well.

Didn't she do a great job?!?

Soon we were all there, dressed and ready to go. Elizabeth was sweet enough to say a prayer before we all made our way into the Sanctuary.

The ceremony went great! My cousin, Briley, did a wonderful job singing The Parent's Prayer, Surely the Presence, Everything to Me and Only God Could Love You More.  During all the preparation for the big day, I was so scared that I was going to cry during the ceremony.  Believe it or not, I didn't shed a tear!!!

After the ceremony, the reception was held at the Art's Council.  Jupiter Jones provided us with entertainment and Scarborough Fair served us delicious food.

I don't know about anyone else, but me and this little one had a lot of fun!
Thank you so much to my parents for making my wedding day dream come true.  I could not have asked for a better day!

Thank you also to those who were there to celebrate this special day with Brad and me.  We are so blessed to have such wonderful families and friends.

I will share more pictures when I get them from our photographer, Julie Mixon.  Tomorrow, I will blog about our Honeymoon!!
