Honeymoon Day 1

So, we left bright and early Sunday morning for our Honeymoon.  After 3 hours of sleep, Brad and I were headed to Jamaica.

We were so tired from Saturday, that Brad tried to get some rest on our flight.
After flying for a while, we finally made it to Jamaica.  We stayed at the Sandals, Whitehouse, which was about a hour and a half drive from the airport.  Take a look at what we got to ride in.

Here we are riding in the nice van.
So, we weren't the only ones that got to ride in this nice van.  We had another couple, from Florida, ride with us.  Let me just tell you, the lady was a MOTOR MOUTH...that is putting it nicely.  They had come to Jamaica three months prior, and you would think she was a Jamaica history major.  She had to tell us everything about Jamaica.  With it being somewhat of a long drive from the airport to the resort, the driver was supposed to stop for a bathroom break.  Well, the couple with us wanted to make sure we stopped at a place where they could get real Jamaican food, a place where no tourist would be.  We stopped at...
Brad and I didn't eat anything.  We were just too tired to even think.  The couple with us kept saying how "incredible" the food was.  Not sure about the food there, but the food at the resort was WONDERFUL!

We finally made it to the Whitehouse.

After getting settled in, we decided to go grab some lunch/dinner.  We went to the restaurant that was near our room...Bluefields.  Brad got Jerk Beef and I got Jerk Chicken.  It was good, but a little spicy for Tay.

Here is our neighbor as we were eating.
By this time, we are exhausted and ready for a nap.  We slept from 4:30 that afternoon until 7:30 the next morning.

Since this post is getting lengthy, I will post more about our honeymoon tomorrow!
